A “nat” police officer, Maseryk works at the old Bowery 5th Precinct (Fort Freak). He is partnered with one of the city’s first joker cops, Harvey Kant, they alternate playing good cop, bad cop with (depending on whether the perp is a nat or a joker.)
Detective Maseryk knew Daniel Brennan (Yeoman) back in Vietnam.
